Compensation and site clearance work is always the focus of the province
According to the plan, the province strives to compensate 1,450 hectares in 2025. To achieve this goal, since the beginning of 2025, the whole province has paid compensation for a total area of more than 693.3 hectares.
Of which, the area paid for land acquisition to implement the project is more than 604 hectares (more than 17.3 hectares of public investment projects and nearly 587 hectares of non-budget investment projects).
In addition, more than 4 hectares of land has been provided to people in Duc Hue district to carry out demarcation and planting markers on the land border between Vietnam and Cambodia.
Cumulatively calculated since the Provincial Party Committee issued Resolution No. 25, dated November 4, 2021, the whole province has compensated and cleared more than 4,012 hectares, exceeding the target set by the Resolution (4,000 hectares).
Specifically, the whole province compensated more than 64.4 hectares by the end of 2021; more than 494.7 hectares by the end of 2022; more than 1,030 hectares by the end of 2023; more than 1,728 hectares by the end of 2024; more than 693.3 hectares since the beginning of 2025.
Completing and exceeding the compensation and site clearance targets is an important basis for Long An to speed up the progress of key projects, creating momentum for sustainable socio-economic development in the coming time./.
