Students discuss during the review session
The final week before the exam
In order for students to have a solid foundation of knowledge and confidently enter the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, schools are making efforts to review lessons. During the final week, the atmosphere is quite exciting. Students gradually grasp knowledge, gaining more determination and confidence to enter the upcoming important exam, conquering their dream of entering their favorite career.
This year, Tan Tru High School (Tan Tru district, Long An province) has 377 candidates registered to take the 2025 High School Graduation Exam. The school focuses on reviewing, in which the "speed-up" period takes place from June 19 to 21. With a review of 2 periods/week/subject, the school focuses on key content, enhancing students' ability to solve exercises, promoting their self-study spirit, diversifying the forms of review, especially online review, to help students grasp the knowledge in the exam subjects.
Mr. Le Tuan Vu - English teacher, Tan Tru High School, shared: "Because the review time in class for students is only 2 periods/week, I apply many different review methods. I give homework for students to do at home, then correct the exercises and answer the parts that they do not understand. I also divide the class into small groups, each group has a group leader to support students in the review process. Through that, students can learn and help each other. If they do not understand any part, the group leader will represent them to ask the teacher. I also set up Zalo study groups to send documents, exercises and guide students to do exercises. In addition, to help students promote the spirit of self-study better, every week, I send exercises on Azota software as well as learning applications and websites so that students have reputable sources of questions to refer to and practice".
Students participate in reviewing
In this final review week, students also focused on mastering important knowledge, and practicing test-taking skills to confidently enter the important exam. Nguyen Nhu Ngoc - a student of class 12A9, Tan Tru High School, confided: “To prepare for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, I put in a lot of effort. In addition to reviewing at school, I spent a lot of time studying at home, reviewing key knowledge, solving many exercises, especially the types of exercises that I lack confidence in. I also participated in online courses to approach many different types of exercises; learn and apply many effective learning methods. I often solve problems and time myself as if I were taking an exam to clearly understand my abilities, strengths and limitations, from there find ways to overcome them to be more confident entering the upcoming important exam.”

In addition to reviewing for students, teachers also encourage students, remind them to take care of their health, and guide them on test-taking skills. Accordingly, teachers remind students not to study too hard, set goals that are within their abilities, share with them test-taking skills such as analyzing the questions, prioritizing easy questions to get points, and filling the multiple-choice answer sheet immediately when they have the answers, etc.
