Among them, Long An province has created a certain advantage, as it has continuously maintained its position in the top group for many years, to create an advantage in attracting investment.

The 2024 PCI report was based on feedback from nearly 11,000 businesses, providing an authentic evaluation of provincial economic governance. Long An secured its position in the top 3 nationwide, earning 72.64 points, a 1.7-point increase from 2023. Hai Phong City and Quang Ninh Province took the first and second spots, while Bac Giang and Ba Ria–Vung Tau rounded out the top five.

Director of the Department of Finance of Long An province - Truong Van Liep said that the synchronous implementation of administrative reform policies and business support has helped Long An maintain its position on the PCI rankings. Notably, six out of ten sub-indices in PCI improved this year.
“As a result of PCI's consistently positive assessments, by April 2025, Long An has attracted nearly 20,600 enterprises, with registered capital totaling 406 trillion VND, alongside 2,300 domestic projects and more than 1,400 FDI projects, valued at over 12.8 billion USD.” said Mr. Liep.
