Representative of the Department of Science and Technology reported on the draft project on breakthrough in science, technology and innovation development of the province in the period 2025 - 2030.

A representative from the Department of Science and Technology proposed 7 groups of tasks and solutions, concretized into 29 tasks in the Breakthrough Project for Science, Technology and Innovation Development.Among them, the central mission is to “strengthen scientific research, technological development, and innovation activities with clear focus areas, serving rapid and sustainable socio-economic development while ensuring national defense and security.” This is considered the core and overarching task, closely tied to most of the province’s development objectives.

For the digital transformation proposal, the Department of Science and Technology has developed a framework to mobilize the coordinated participation of all administrative levels, from provincial to grassroots. Financial resources will be strategically invested in key sectors such as agriculture, environment, science, technology, health, and education.

The conference provided time for delegates to contribute ideas and propose solutions to complete the contents in a suitable and feasible manner, aiming at effectively implementing the 2 Projects.

In his concluding remarks, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa acknowledged and praised the efforts of the Department of Science and Technology, and highly appreciated the thoughtful and passionate contributions of the delegates. He requested the Drafting Committee of the 2 Projects to receive comments and promptly add them to the draft.

The assessment of the current situation must be carried out fully and accurately, including facilities, people and human resources. Once completed, appropriate and practical solutions must be proposed for the actual situation./.
