Located in Tan Tap Commune, Can Giuoc District, Long An Province, Long An International Port covers a total area of 147 hectares. Currently, the port owns 7 wharves with a total length of nearly 1.7 km. According to the development plan, the port will be expanded to 9 wharves, increasing the total length of the port shore to about 2.4 km, capable of receiving ships with a capacity of over 100,000 DWT, reaching a capacity of 3 million TEUs and 10 million tons of general cargo. After directly visiting and learning about the port's operations, the Qinghai delegation highly appreciated the strategic location of Long An International Port, recognizing it as a vital hub for cargo consolidation, transshipment, and trade between southern Vietnam and other regions both domestically and internationally.

Qinghai leaders particularly emphasized the role of Long An Province's leadership in facilitating favorable conditions and promoting investment activities and exploiting the advantages of the port to the fullest. The delegation regarded this as a model worthy of study and potential application in Qinghai Province, especially since this province is the source of three major rivers in China.

Following the port visit, the delegation traveled to Thuan Dao Industrial Park in Ben Luc District to meet with Shundao Vietnam Co., Ltd., a Chinese-invested enterprise. During the exchange with the company’s representatives, Qinghai officials noted the positive assessments of Long An’s investment environment. In particular, the model of economic development in parallel with environmental protection here was also highly appreciated by the Chinese side.
