  • 8 highlights in socio-economics in May 2025

  • Long An’s state budget revenue reaches nearly 14 trillion VND

    On May 29, the Steering Committee for Promoting State Budget Collection in Long An Province held a conference to assess the status and results of state budget revenue for the first five months of 2025, as well as to outline directions and tasks for the remaining months of the year. The conference was attended by Mr. Huynh Van Son, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and Mr. Nguyen Van Thuy, Head of the Tax Department of Region XVII.

  • Long An reports PCI, PGI assessment results, and announces the DDCI in 2024

    On May 28, the People’s Committee of Long An Province held a conference to report on the results of the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI), the Provincial Green Index (PGI), and to announce the Department and District Competitiveness Index (DDCI) rankings for 2024. The conference was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Van Ut, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and was connected online to all district and commune levels throughout the province.
