The construction of Nguyen Thi Mot Secondary and High School commenced on March 16, 2024, on a land area of nearly 2.4 hectares, with a total investment of over 100 billion VND.
After more than a year of construction, the project has been essentially completed and is ready to serve teaching and learning activities in the 2025–2026 school year.
The project includes a 2-story main building with 25 classrooms and an administrative block, a traditional house, a multi-purpose house, etc., meeting the learning needs of about 1,900 students.

Named after the resilient southern Vietnamese woman Nguyen Thi Mot, the school was built with socialized funding mobilized by former State President Truong Tan Sang.
This project carries significant meaning, contributing to enhancing the quality of local education, fostering patriotic traditions, and arousing national pride in the younger generation.

Speaking at the ceremony, former State President Truong Tan Sang expressed hope that today’s young generation will be courageous and intelligent like revolutionary activist Nguyen Thi Mot. He also hoped that teachers will dedicate themselves to teaching, and that students will study diligently, train themselves well, and become excellent citizens for the country.
Nguyen Thi Mot Secondary and High School in Phuoc Lai Commune, Can Giuoc District not only addresses the shortage of educational infrastructure for children of workers in local industrial zones and clusters but also aims to develop into a national-standard school, contributing to the new rural development criteria.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Tan Hoa expressed his gratitude for former State President Truong Tan Sang's attention and advocacy and the support of philanthropists during the construction of the school.
He hoped that local authorities, departments, sectors, mass organizations, and the people of Can Giuoc District would continue to pay attention, coordinate, and support the development of Nguyen Thi Mot Secondary and High School.
At the same time, he directed the Department of Education and Training to take the lead in coordinating with local authorities to guide Nguyen Thi Mot Secondary and High School in developing a high-quality operational plan, gradually meeting education quality accreditation standards to achieve national-standard school recognition as soon as possible.
On this occasion, the philanthropist donated 300 million VND to the Nguyen Thi Mot Scholarship Fund. From this fund, 10 scholarships worth 20 million VND/year were given to 10 students who studied at the school./.
