Speaking at the opening of the conference, Vice Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa affirmed Long An's strong determination in digital transformation, especially the application of artificial intelligence to promote social-economic development.

He emphasized the potential for increasing labour productivity and creating new value of AI. At the same time, he noted the preparation of infrastructure, human resources, and legal issues, creating a favorable environment for digital businesses and artificial intelligence businesses to develop.

He suggested that, immediately after the conference, departments and branches need to focus on developing plans to apply artificial intelligence, train high-quality artificial intelligence human resources, proactively apply artificial intelligence in management and research preferential policies to attract artificial intelligence enterprises.

Delegates listened to reports on two important topics: Deputy Director of the National Digital Transformation Department, Ministry of Science and Technology - Dr. Ho Duc Thang presented on "Overview of policies and guidelines on development and application of artificial intelligence to serve national digital transformation, development of digital government, digital economy, digital society" and Head of Artificial Intelligence, Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City - Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hien - presented on "Artificial intelligence assistant - new workforce: Some concepts, trends and practical applications".

Delegates at the conference

Through the conference, delegates were provided with an overview of artificial intelligence, the great potential of artificial intelligence, and policies on developing artificial intelligence applications to serve national digital transformation, developing digital government, digital economy and digital society.

In particular, the conference also introduced Virtual Assistants in depth, helping cadres, civil servants and public employees understand and exploit applications to support their daily work./.
