On May 23, the delegation of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KOCHAM) led by KOCHAM Chairman - Kim Nyoun Ho visited and worked in Long An province.

KOCHAM was established in 2003, representing more than 5,000 Korean enterprises investing in the Central and Southern regions of Vietnam. KOCHAM plays an important role in supporting and advising Korean enterprises in the investment process in Vietnam; at the same time, it acts as a bridge to strengthen cooperation between Vietnamese enterprises and Korea, and vice versa.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa said that currently, Korean enterprises are ranked 3rd in terms of direct investment capital in Long An. He highly appreciated the contribution of Korean enterprises to the socio-economic development of the province, especially in implementing social security activities.

Mr. Pham Tan Hoa affirmed that he is always ready to support and create the most favorable conditions for Korean businesses and investors when they come to learn about and invest in Long An. He also expressed his hope that KOCHAM will be a bridge to help the province introduce and attract more Korean businesses to invest.

During the meeting, Chairman of KOCHAM - Kim Nyoun Ho thanked the provincial leaders for their thoughtful welcome and said that he would continue to introduce and connect Korean businesses and investors to explore investment opportunities in Long An. In addition, he pointed out some difficulties and problems that Korean businesses are facing when investing in Long An, hoping that relevant departments, agencies and sectors would pay attention and support to resolve them.
