Rice varieties such as Dai Thom 8, OM 5451, OM 18, etc continue to be prioritized thanks to their good disease resistance, stable yield and market popularity.

Many localities in Long An province, especially key districts such as Thanh Hoa, Tan Thanh, Vinh Hung, etc, have actively converted production areas to high-quality rice varieties; at the same time, they have applied advanced farming models such as production according to VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards.

In the coming time, Long An province will continue to focus on solutions to improve seed quality, expand the application of synchronous mechanization and strengthen market promotion, especially exporting high-quality rice to demanding markets such as Japan, EU, and Korea./.
