Specifically, on April 8, 2024, Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Beverage Company Limited held a groundbreaking ceremony to build a factory in Huu Thanh Industrial Park, Duc Hoa district, Long An province. Granted investment certificates to 08 domestic projects, an increase of 02 projects over the same period; Total new registered capital is 2,306.4 billion VND. Up to now, the province has 2,213 domestic projects with registered capital of 300,566.4 billion VND.

Regarding foreign investment, in the first quarter of 2024, the province issued investment certificates for 21 projects, an increase of 04 projects over the same period. To date, there are 1,282 FDI projects in the province with capital of 11,175.9 million USD; Of which 635 projects are in operation, with a total investment capital of 4,213 million USD.
