The 11th Congress of Long An Provincial Party Committee determined that mobilizing all resources to build a synchronous transport infrastructure system to serve industrial and urban development in the province's key economic region is one of three breakthrough programs. Recently, responding to the press about continued investment in transport infrastructure development, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment - Truong Van Liep informed that, from the results achieved in recent times, in 2024, The province continues to focus resources allocated to important and key transportation projects of the province so that these projects can soon be completed and put into operation, contributing to attracting investment and creating motivation for recovery and socio-economic development of the province.

Accordingly, in 2024, the province allocates about 2,886 billion VND (accounting for 58.23 percent of the total capital allocated to the project), of which, focusing on allocating important transportation projects that are widespread and interconnected. regional connections such as Provincial Road 823D (expected to be completed in 2024), Provincial Road 830E (expected to be completed in 2025); Tan An City Ring Road (technically opened in 2023, completed in 2024), Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 (expected to be completed in 2025).

“Important traffic projects of the province such as Tan An City Ring Road, Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, Provincial Road 823D, Provincial Road 830E,... after completion, will clear bottlenecks in the system. transportation and logistics system. Long An province's synchronous and modern traffic connections have contributed to reducing transportation and logistics costs for businesses. Roads are being newly invested, upgraded, expanded, and connected to each other, helping to reduce traffic congestion, transport goods more conveniently, and shorten the time to transport goods between industrial zones and clusters, localities in the province, between Long An and the provinces of the Southeast Region and the Mekong Delta Region. This helps businesses reduce shipping time and save costs; At the same time, improve production and business efficiency and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.
