Long An leader requires Kien Tuong town to focus on commerce-service

Long An province Party Committee secretary and People’s Council chairman Pham Van Ranh required Kien Tuong town to focus on developing commerce-services, border trade and industry at a meeting on November 1.

In addition, the town should pay attention to developing hi-tech farming and product consumption connectivity chains.
According to Mr. Ranh, despite lots of efforts having been made, the town has not promoted its development potentials.

Reporting some achievements obtained in the first ten months of 2018, Kien Tuong town's representative said that production value reached VND3.2 trillion, accounting for 84.8 percent plan. Budget revenue was estimated to hit VND444.7 billion.
Social welfare polices were ensured. National defense and security were stable. The town efficiently implemented breakthrough programs and completed some major works.
