In the last 10 years, Long An province and Tay Ninh province implemented the socio-economic development cooperation program in the fields such as transportation, industry, trade and service, agriculture, education and training, culture, sports and tourism, science and technology, and security and national defense.

Accordingly, leaders of the two provinces agreed on the contents of association and cooperation in the period 2018-2025, focusing on the fields such as: cooperation on comprehensive development of agriculture and rural areas; cooperation and experience exchange on solutions to raise the quality, efficiency and competitiveness of the provinces' key industrial products; cooperation to invest in the roads currently connecting the two provinces, etc.

Speaking at the conference, Secretary of Long An provincial Party Committee – Pham Van Ranh believed that the socio-economic development cooperation program between Long An province and Tay Ninh province in the period 2018-2025 would continue to achieve many positive results, contributing to the socio-economic development and raising the position of the two provinces.​
