Long An: The first working day at Regional tax department goes smoothly
On August 5, the Regional Tax Departments were officially put into operation with a new organization form.

People and enterprises carry out tax administrative procedures at Kien Tuong - Moc Hoa Regional Tax Department

Recently, the Ministry of Finance has decided to consolidate the District Tax Departments under Long An Provincial Tax Department. After consolidating, Long An has 6 Regional Tax Departments and 3 District Tax Departments of Ben Luc, Can Duoc and Can Giuoc districts under the Provincial Tax Department.

Kien Tuong - Moc Hoa Regional Tax Department has its head office in Kien Tuong town and one-stop-shop in Moc Hoa district with 32 officials.

According to the Head of the Kien Tuong – Moc Hoa Regional Tax Department - Tran Thi Thu Van, the consolidation was prepared for a long time, so the first day of operation with the new form was quite good. In particular, the officials were also excited to complete their tasks.

At present, the number of taxpayers in Kien Tuong and Moc Hoa is about 100 businesses and 1,000 business households. The consolidation does not affect the transactions of businesses and people, because the tax declaration is implemented online.

At the one-stop-shop of Thu Thua district, the first working day was also quite smooth. According to Manager of the office - Nguyen Van Nam, the unit has 8 officials. Their tasks are to directly receive and resolve tax declaration, tax calculation and tax notices of business individuals. In addition, the unit also manages tax declaration documents of individuals who lease assets; registration fee documents for cars and motorbikes, documents of financial obligations for taxpayers' land receipts; the revenues of the district budget but not managed by the Reginal Tax Department, and many other tax administrative procedures.

Besides, the inter-commune team of the unit manages 300 businesses and 1,000 business households. The unit has accurately implemented taxpayers' databases; applied information technology in tax administration activities; and implemented e-tax services to support taxpayers to create favorable conditions on the first day of operating. 

The arrangement and consolidation of the Regional Tax Departments in the province under the direction of the General Department of Taxation under Decision No.110/QD-BTC of the Minister Finance aim to ensure the efficiency of tax administration in a streamlined, effective and efficient manner, said the Director of Long An provincial Tax Department – Cao Van Tao./.
