Hoa Khanh Dong cattle-feeding household for beef was established in 2017. Currently, the cooperative has 20 members contributing 108 million VND to the charter capital; The total herd has 191 cows, the area of planted grass has 7 hectares. The main activities are to breed cows for birth and cows for beef, grow grass and artificial insemination. Last time, the cooperative was trained, supported equipment, breeds, livestock towards VietGAP, high quality, etc. Since then, it helps members strongly invest in building barns.
However, the cooperative also faces difficulties that some members have had no cooperation yet, most members raise cows for birth so they use less concentrate food, only use grass and straw, moreover, each member uses a type of bran so it is very difficult to implement contracts and so on.
In 2020, the cooperative aims to exploit its activities more effectively, enhance communication on the Law on Cooperatives 2012 so that people understand and participate in cooperatives to increase the charter capital and the number of members; it strives to encourage members to raise cattle for beef to market according to the value chain of production and consumption of products, etc. At the same time, the cooperative also expressed its desire to be supported in developing new-style multi-industry cooperatives.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Van Canh highly appreciated the efforts of Hoa Khanh Dong Cooperative that developed in a good and oriented direction. At the same time, he asked the cooperative to quickly coordinate with departments and branches to complete cooperative documents on the charter, business plans, technical plans, capital mobilization; determine the direction to find the output for cooperatives, encourage members to cooperate, mobilize production in the direction of concentration and so on./.
