Through the model, farmers no longer use fresh chicken manure to fertilize dragon fruits. The model has gradually guided farmers to become familiar with the use of organic fertilizers, bio-fertilizers, and bio-products in the production of dragon fruits in order to improve soil and strengthen root activity to help absorb nutrients better nutrition, using probiotics to manage some fungi and diseases in the root zone, getting used to recording production diaries, producing according to VietGAP and serving as a basis for VietGAP certification.

According to the Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development - Nguyen Chi Thien, for example, the advanced watering model helps people save 50-80 percent of irrigation and power consumption, save 10-40 percent amount of fertilizer, saving the amount of water used but increasing absorption efficiency, fertilizer efficiency, contributing to economic efficiency for users. It is estimated that when implementing the economical irrigation model, farmers reduce labor costs, irrigation water, electricity consumption and fertilizer by about 2 - 4 million VND/ha/month. However, at present, there are many irrigation models, which have not yet determined a standard model with low cost for replication.

Through the implementation of the model, the initial efficiency of dragon fruit production in the organic direction is relatively clear. During the production process, there is no use of chemical fertilizers, plant protection drugs, but only using Que Lam organic fertilizer, mineral fertilizers and biological products to fertilize dragon fruits./.
