Long An attracted 100,000 visitors in October 2018

According to the data of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Long An province, in October, there were about 100,000 visitors in Long An (up 10% over the same period). In which, international visitors were about 1,200 visitors (up 20% over the same period), and revenue reached about 48 billion dong (up 11% over the same period).

The tourism industry focused on serving and introducing local history and culture to visitors. In October 2018, 4,000 tourists visited Long An Monumental Park "Valiant and resilient, all people fight the enemy" in Ward 5, Tan An Town.

In November 2018, the tourism industry will organize the appraisal and ranking of tourist accommodation establishments as specified and the work of granting tour guide cards, and tour guide certificates in order to professionalize the travel activities in the locality.​
