Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the Provincial People's Council – Pham Van Ranh discusses with representatives of enterprises in Trade Union officials
Currently, the whole province has 11,305 enterprises registering for establishment with a total capital of VND 297,403 billion. In the current conditions, in addition to foreign-invested enterprises and some corporations, the small and medium-sized enterprises are facing many great difficulties and challenges. However, with the support of the provincial leaders in creating a transparent and fair business environment, the enterprises' operations have been effective, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.
In the past time, the provincial leaders, authorities and sectors have always accompanied the business community such as focusing on administrative procedure reform, improving provincial competitiveness, focusing on infrastructure development, especially transport and service infrastructure, proactively removing difficulties and obstacles for enterprises and providing specific support solutions, etc. In addition, the provincial Young Business Association with more than 300 members has always been a bridge for the provincial leaders to close and share difficulties with the business community. Accordingly, there are many new projects being implemented, expanding investment, applying scientific and technical advances and new technologies to production, making positive contributions to the socio-economic development of the province.
"Long An has long been considered an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors, which brings many opportunities but also challenges for the provincial leaders. We need to work with enterprises to remove difficulties and barriers for better development; must focus on dealing with pressing issues so that the types of enterprises will increase in number, develop in quality and sustainability" – Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the Provincial People's Council – Pham Van Ranh emphasized at the dialogue with representatives of workers, enterprises and Trade Union officials in 2019./.
