The Delegation of Long An province worked with corporations and economic organizations in Korea

On November 18, 2019, the delegation of Long An province was led by the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Ranh, along with leaders of departments and a number of enterprises investing in the province to visit and work with a number of corporations and economic organizations in Korea.

At the meeting with Samsung Group, the delegation visited and surveyed a number of models of smart home utilities, smart apartments studied and invested by Samsung Group.

After the meeting, the delegation visited and worked with KT Group, Korea's leading technology corporation with the annual revenue of 18 billion USD. It is known that KT Group together with the Green Economy Institute, Lavifood Company of Vietnam are coordinating in research and investment projects in Long An province with the desire to apply the group's latest technologies in the development of industry, agriculture and intelligent government in Long An province.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Pham Van Ranh delivered a speech at the meeting with the KT Group

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Ranh highly appreciated the capability of the KT Group as well as the ability to succeed in coordination between KT Group and its project implementing partners in Long An province. The government of Long An province pledged to create the most favorable conditions for their investment and business activities in Long An province.

      In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation of Long An province visited and worked with the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (NACF) and the Korea Agricultural Group (Nonghyup). Speaking at the event, the Institute of Green Economy mentioned a number of specific issues, asking Nonghuyp and NACF to research and coordinate for the implementation in Vietnam, giving priority to projects of the Institute of Green Economy in Long An.

On November 18, the delegation visited, surveyed and worked with fresh flower auction market (AT Center), wholesale market and vegetable and fruit auction (Garak). Through the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council  Pham Van Ranh said that Long An province now has a project for wholesale market for agricultural products, so the province will welcome and create favorable conditions for Vietnamese and Korean enterprises to cooperate in implementing the project and applying this model to the province.
