In the first 2 months of 2018, Long An attracted 25 domestic and foreign projects with a total capital of VND 1,110 billion and US$ 52 million
According to statistics from the Department of Planning and Investment, in the first two months of 2018, 15 domestic projects were issued Investment Certificate with a total of capital of VND 1,110 billion (decreased 2 projects and VND 102 billion compared with the same period in 2017) in the province.
So far, the total of domestic investment projects registered for Investment Certificate is 1,486 projects, with a total registered capital of VND 168,453 billion.
For foreign direct investment (FDI) projects, the province issued 10 new foreign investment projects with the registered capital of US$ 52 million (decreased 6 projects and increased US$ 29 million of registered capital compared with the same period in 2017).
To date, the total of registered FDI projects in the province was 899 projects with a total capital of US$ 5,698 million; in which 545 projects have been put into operation accounting for 60.6% of the total registered projects; the total realized capital was about US$ 3,572 million, accounting for 62.7% of the registered capital.
Up to now, there are 9,772 enterprises operating in the province with a total registered capital of VND 236,526 billion, including 1,335 enterprises located in the industrial parks with the registered capital of VND 96,487 billion, 251 enterprises located in the industrial clusters, accounting for VND 8,533 billion of capital and 8,186 enterprises located outside industrial parks and clusters with the capital of VND 131,506 billion.
In the coming time, Long An continues to attract investment and support enterprises to operate more efficiently
